# TSSIM/JESIM v49 - wide rounded secondary deformation

Base: v48 continuous secondary deformation.

Changes:
- Auto secondary deformation is now wider across the down-dip direction.
- Generated lobes use rounded-superellipse weights instead of independent along/across raised-cosine products.
- The continuous fault ribbon support is rounded and slightly expanded, so rectangular corner artifacts are reduced.
- Main down-dip subsidence lobe, tip settlement lobes, and weak uplift shoulders are all smoother and less angular.

Unchanged:
- Direct stamp rupture nodes are unchanged.
- M0/Mw still counts only direct uplift / footprint source nodes, not generated secondary deformation.
- Generated secondary nodes keep slip_m = 0 and fault_patch_id < 0.
- v48 preset loading behavior remains: old stamp presets regenerate secondary deformation automatically.
- JESIM 5-minute observation packets, packet_meaningful_update, transmit-only 60 h cap, wall-clock 1x, no y-axis flip, and Shimizu removal remain.

Usage:
1. Extract this ZIP into a clean folder.
2. Run build_win_mingw.bat.
3. Run python jesim_ws_relay.py when using JESIM/Scratch.
4. Load your v46/v48 stamp preset; secondary deformation is regenerated automatically.
5. Press G in stamp mode to manually regenerate the secondary field after edits.
